If you’re reading this then our web site has been updated.  I hope you enjoy the new layout.  Special thanks to Clint Inselmann for his web work, design, and musical talents that he has continued to provide over the past few years.

Today marks a day of great progress in the short. We have our first complete rough draft in addition to a finished trailer!! So we invited our “investors” (Jon and Mike) to come by and take a look at the rough draft. They appeared to be impressed and gave plenty of useful notes for this final stretch of editing.  The new title, “Mister Understanding,” stuck and we’re on our way to a finished product. It looks like we can still reach our Christmas deadline.  Attached is a compressed version of the trailer. Please enjoy while we finish up on the cutting board:

We are now 10 months into work on our latest project, (working title) As Mercy Does. This short was written by Jonathan Stagg and was then met by four months of revisions and preproduction arranged by director Joe Stoltz.

AMD was shot with digital media by award winning cinematographer Owen Brazas who is driven by the powerhouse of production coordinators Katie Witkowski and Amanda Togliatti. This small, but ample crew has proven their worth in gold by assuming the roles occupied by the hundreds of people who work behind the scenes of professional motion pictures.

Accident Films recently moved to Chicago where Joe Stoltz and Owen Brazas are currently editing this short. They expect a final draft to be ready by Christmas. Also to come is a complete overhaul of the Accident Films web site in addition to the return of Video Blogs! Stay tuned as more unfolds in our DIY video production community.
